The Bride's Story
Wendy, a Fort Worth resident who has worked for non-profit organizations for the past ten years is the Director of Speedway Children’s Charities-Texas Chapter. Speedway Children’s Charities, the official charity of Texas Motor Speedway, plays host to a large array of events and promotions annually to raise funds for children’s organizations.
Wendy began her career with non-profit organizations as the inner-city program coordinator for the Boy Scouts of America in Toledo, Ohio. She later moved to Fort Worth to become a district executive for the organization.
Wendy is active in the Ridglea Business and Professional Women’s Club (BPW), having served in various positions including two years as President. She is currently serving as a director on the local organization board as well as the State Alternate on the Region 4 Texas Board.
Wendy’s enjoys running, cycling, scrap booking, cooking and spending time with her new puppy, Dakota.
